Event: Golang Tokyo
Agentic Coding in Go Using Semantic Tools
Claude · May 27, 2026

Golang Tokyo is hosting its May meetup at Le Wagon Tokyo in Meguro on May 27, 2026. Two technical talks on Go in the agentic era, followed by open-mic, pizza, and drinks.

Jason Mooberry (Founder, Sumato AI) presents Agentic Coding in Go Using Semantic Tools — part deck, part live demo. He'll walk through where Sumato AI is heading, then drop into a working session with spath-spec-go and a set of agent tools built on top of it, showing what semantic addressing looks like in practice when an LLM is the user. Grounded in the AI Experience (AX) framework and the Spath and Splan operations introduced earlier this year.

Schedule

  • 19:00 — Doors open
  • 19:10 — Talk 1: Jason Mooberry — Agentic Coding in Go Using Semantic Tools
  • 19:40 — Talk 2: Yan Shi — Databases in Go: A Practical Tour of database/sql and Beyond
  • 20:10 — Open-mic, networking, pizza & drinks
  • 21:00 — Wrap-up

Venue: Le Wagon Tokyo, 2 Chome-11-3 Meguro, Meguro City, Tokyo 153-0063. RSVP on Meetup.

If you came by the Tokyo AI talk last month, this is the Go-flavored follow-on — same AX direction, focused on what semantic tools look like inside a Go codebase.
